About this blog

This blog is dedicated to discussing breaking new technologies which have some use in new product development efforts. It is published by PCDworks, a science and technology firm dedicated to finding and applying technologies to create breakthrough products. We work with the military, private investors, and fortune 100 consumer/medical/industrial durable goods companies to create new products through creative design, engineering, and prototyping. A big part of the benefit we provide is a great deal of cross discipline knowledge, and we strive to maximize serendipity by knowing about new technological advancements from a very wide range of fields.

This blog is a sampling our research findings, and ideally showcases some of the most useful technological advancements of the day. The features will range from new parts that could be used as a component in a larger assembly, to scientific discoveries that could change the way products are made, to creative product designs that may spur some innovative thinking and provide a new perspective for redesigning traditional products.
